Two years pass by so fast
Like an arrow pierces her broken heart
Tomorrow he will go
After accomplishing his special mission
He has to repatriate

People side by side shared the joy on the sandbank,
While over their head the starry sky
They were so content with gentle breeze
Both of them looked toward the skyline
Enjoyed the smell of freshness
He draped the right hand on her shoulders
In a solemn tone, he spoke slowly

In a quiet moment, they shared all common sorrow then she whispered,
"May God be testifying to our love and blessing in this night"

Under the blue sky in every evening
Frequently, they had dinner together in the popular eating-house in the open air

The pork meat "kho" with fish sauce
The tonkinoise soup named "pho"
Those delicious foods never faded in his mind
All long lasting night
While the rain pouring hard outside
A sorrow of parting comes over her
She tosses so many times on her bed
She quite so suffers in remembering her lover
And she hopes that he will never forget the Vietnam pretty girl in love
She still lives with gloomy hours by obsession by the shadow of her lover
She murmurs "O my love, you imprison my heart until when, you do know
I feel very solitary"
