The Fortune is in the Follow-up
Remember that this is, in part, a numbers game. Every individual has his own "number." That is, the number you need to recruit will likely remain consistent as long as you don't change any of your methods. For example, let's say that you get 5 EA out of every 100 affiliates. YOu now know that everytime you recruit 100 new affiliates, you will, on the average, get 5 EA. Now if you want to have 10 EA, you also know you will have to recruit 200 affiliates. (These are just made-up numbers) To take it one step further, suppose you learn that in order to get 100 affiliates, you have to purchase 500 leads. Or you have to run 5 ezine ads Or you have to purchase 500 click-throughs somewhere. Get the idea. Then you can become efficient with your ad expenses and you will know exactly how much you have to spend in either time or money to get the desired number of EA. You will only learn this if you keep good records of your advertising and your results. I use an Excel spreadsheet to help me keep track of keycodes and different advertising venues. But I totally agree with the saying, "The Fortune is in the Follow-up." Building relationships is key. Take the time to get to know your affiliates. There are as many ways to do this as there are people in SFI. Use your personal style to its best advantage. Also, because this is a numbers game, remember this adage: Some will; Some won't. So what? WHAT's next?

People want current news on the topics they are interested in. You could also include new "how to" articles. 4. Offer your visitors a free community. People like to have a place were they can have discussions with others on a particular subject. 5. Make people feel they protected when they pay money for your products. Make it clear to them you will trade their e-mail address, and that you will not disclose any of their individual information. 6. Provide complimentary versions of your merchandise. This will allow people to gain knowledge of your product and draw people to your Internet site. 7. Make your ad copy inviting. Your ad should show payoffs before the values. Incorporate assurance and personal recommendations in your ad. 8. Remind people to come back and visit your site. They usually don't purchase the first time. The more times they visit, the greater the chance they'll buy. 9. Provide information about the history of your business. They will be more relaxed if they be acquainted with who they are doing business with. 10. Present people several pay choices. Welcome payment by credit cards, check, money order, or any additional of computerized payment. Scott F. Geld is the VP of Marketing for Marketing Blaster, Inc.
