Replace your ugly gateway with
your own private website

Answer: As an MIQ member of my team you are entitled to a personal site created by me. This is more than a simple redirection of a private domain leading to one of your gateways, it's a true website where you can add your picture, text, etc. Of course I'll be doing these additions because it's way too early for you to know what to add and how to do it, but it's a beginning and an investment for your business.
 
The domain name will be MyOther Domain.com/yourname.htm which may not be the perfect solution for you but for offline advertising it's much better than your ugly SFI gateway name. It may also be ThatDomain.com/yourfirstname.htm or ThatDomain.com/yournickname.htm or any other name you choose for the extension (please send me a note with what you finally choose). I will anyway prepare this site for you and will send it to you as soon as it's linked to your gateways and uploaded on the net, I believe no later than this coming Wednesday.
 
This is a free service from me that according to my experience is more valuable than getting (and paying) for your own domain and redirecting it to your gateway. Of course if you want to have a "clean" domain of your own you will have to pay and I'm not sure whether spending money at this early stage will do you any good, it really depends on how heavily you intend to promote offline. Certainly people will remember a clean domain even better (for example: YourName.com or YourBusiness.com). In this case the cheapest way I've found is to get a domain at Doteasy.com and if you give me the username and password of your account with Doteasy I can upload the page I will have created to your new domain. The domain costs $25.00/year but hosting is free and this is cheaper than getting a free domain elsewhere because companies offering free domains are charging a monthly fee for hosting which ends up being more expensive than $25.00 per year. Or they force you to put ugly banners on your site advertising their businesses.
 
To sum up, if you are satisfied with the website I will create for you, you don't need to do anything. If you insist on getting a clean domain (without an extension) enter the Doteasy site and get one. If I don't hear from you, you will receive on Wednesday the above mentioned site with the extension "YourName.htm".
