work at home <- -> free classified |
What, where and how to advertise your home business
If you are intent on using free classifieds then the first thing you must do is have a quality headline. SFI's policy prohibits you from writing your own ad copy unless it is first approved,
so you must use their ads. To find all of the current SFI classified ads, go to: www.sfimg.com, and click on
“Marketing Aids”. If you think you can write better ads, and want to use them, you need to first have them approved by SFI HQ. As long as they are honest and moral, you will likely receive approval quickly (ask your PTL). Now that we know what the content of your ads will contain we need to talk about where you can place your ads. I've listed a couple classified ad sites below, but these are by no means all that there are. I suggest you go to any search engine, whether it be HotBot, Dogpile, Yahoo, Overture, whatever and type in "free classifieds". From that search you will get literally HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of places where you can advertise your SFI ad free. http://www.classifiedsforfree.com http://classifieds.bmi.net http://www.1second.com/1america.htm http://www.becanada.com http://www.classifiedclub.com So now we know: 1. What we are advertising. 2. Where we are advertising. Now we need to focus on HOW we are advertising. What I mean by this is that if you go out there and place 100 ads a day to 100 different websites, and you start getting responses, how are you going to know which site is the one pulling in all of the new Affiliates? Without some sort of tracking you wouldn't know. For this reason tracking where responses are coming from is VITAL to being a successful marketer! As an SFI affiliate, you can use Key Codes in all your advertising -- which are then automatically captured by SFI's computer system when someone signs up as a Prospect through your SFI Gateway Website. These Key Codes are provided to you in your Genealogies - giving you immediate feedback on your advertising, so you can easily identify where your results are coming from, which sources are pulling, and which sources are not. Your Genealogies are found
in the Sfimg.com menu under “My Reports” (Click on “My Account” first, then on “My Reports” under the Main Menu. To use Key Codes, you'll need to advertise your SFI Gateway URL like this: http://www.yourgateway.com/12345.12 - replace 12345 with your own SFI ID number, and yourgateway.com with the
gateway listed on your Account page (click on “My Reports”, then on “View/Edit Gateway”). Likewise, you can use www.yourgateway.com/12345.12/free when directing people to the SFI Affiliate registration Website... or... www.yourgateway.com/12345.12/VNU when directing someone to the Veriuni offer. And so on. Remember, I showed you last
time all of the Gateways you have available to you in the Account area, and more are on the way. The dot and number (this can be up to the number 999 as all 4-digit numbers are reserved for SFI) following your SFI ID
number is your key code. Say you were running an ad in an ezine and another in AOL's Classified Ad section. You could use code ".12" for the ezine, and code ".13" for the AOL Classified Ad. Just keep track of what Key Codes you assign to what advertising source! Many Affiliates use a notebook or an excel spreadsheet to keep track of their key codes. |
