You have certainly figured out yourself that the new Car is SFI, given to you for free. Yes, you have probably MIQed by paying $29.95 for IAHBE (you'll get back a good portion, though, in the form of "PTL bank share", when you make it PTL) but this is not a fee. If you make a 10 svp sale to a non-affiliate you won't have to pay anything! This is difficult if you live outside USA, where offline products are not dispatched, and when you still don’t know how to promote online, but it's feasible if you're a US resident - just buy 2 bottles of Veriuni, sell them to someone you know and get back your MIQ money.
You may wonder: "This is not why I'm here. I was told I can earn in the comfort of my home. I don't like chasing customers in the streets”.
In this case you will have to be patient because making retail sales online is not so easy for beginners. It’s described in the last chapter on internet marketing and better achieved with what is called “search engine optimization” (SEO, a free method of promoting online). Very few SFIers know how to make online RETAIL sales (sales of products to non-affiliates) and I am taking all my MIQ people “by the hand”, offering private lessons and a world of free tools when teaching SEO methods.
Up until recently I was only promoting the SFI home business opportunity as such with my “free” SFI gateway - and that's what I'm suggesting you start learning how to do at this early stage.
And yes, you are impatient to drive your car NOW and FAST! Some of you became PTLs by purchasing Veriuni or other SFI products and sold them to your brother, your father and a friend - you acquired PTL status in no time, that is.
And YES, you started already earning money with SFI!
That does not mean you are Truly Independent Affiliates yet...
You'll have to spend some TIME learning and practicing.


Our topic today is not “Getting your Business Started”. We'll talk about this later. I want to focus on those of you that are tempted to buy “leads” BEFORE learning how to run their business. I was also tempted to do so in my starting steps. Everything looked SO difficult (especially to me).
Even more, I would never have imagined ME writing a “Newsletter” to YOU. By the way please excuse my grammar and poor vocabulary. Many of you know now, that English is only my third language.
I was very cautious when I started with SFI. I had already paid some foolish money to 3 other home businesses and stumbled across this one while giving myself a last chance. Impressed by the very rich website, I detected a man of Power behind it. The very large number of materials available for free was truly amazing.
I had grown impatient though. One reason why I didn't buy Eagles was that I wouldn't be in good terms with my conscience, after my previous failures. By going through Gery's writings I got convinced. I was given the opportunity to LEARN things I would have never learnt otherwise. I was ENCOURAGED to learn, that was clear. A marketing effort to sell me Eagles was obvious but very logical: SFI is a Marketing Company, after all, and I liked that. I wouldn't prefer being part of an illegal pyramid!
So I didn't buy Eagles. Even back then I could feel that Gery is primarily interested in teaching me (and YOU) how to become great sellers (and earners, of course) in order to strengthen the SFI Powerline. He is offering Eagles to those who think the obstacles are insurmountable and will otherwise quit.
But do you believe a marketing company (ANY company) will ever sell anything for nothing? No, you are not naive. NO ONE will provide leads without making a profit. Whether the leads come from lead generating companies, or opt-in lists, safelists, Co-ops etc. it doesn't really matter. What matters is that you are getting low quality leads ALWAYS whereas you could recruit your own, targeted ones at a much lower cost. We’ll see how.
